You arrive at the indoor driving range for some golf related stress release with a few mates. At the counter the staff member asks if you are on Twitter.

You say you are and give him your Twitter handle. Next he grabs his iphone, gets you geared up and takes a photo (before shot), Welcoming you to the venue and gives you an extra bucket of balls to share between you.

As you walk to your Tee Station you check in to Foursquare where a Special Offer promotion gives you a free coffee or soft-drink from the cafe. Nice


You and your mates punish a few buckets of balls competing for the longest drive and head back to the counter to drop of your clubs. Out comes the manager again with the iPhone loaded up with your Twitter names and ready for another photo (after shot). He gets the Longest Drive winner to put on a Green Jacket and takes the photo as if you're all heading for the Club House.

Lastly for being so sporting he gives you all $5 discount off your next visit.

As you exit you have a couple of tweets to reply too and are naturally buzzing from your experience. Do you think you would go back to redeem that discount voucher? You sure will!
